![]() ![]() ![]() ❌ Box Drive macOS Finder Issue #1 - Box Drive does not completely download all Folders, Subfolders, or Folder Content when setting to "Make Available Online," and incorrectly stops the syncing/downloading process thinking that it has.CPU usage is consistent with pre-Monterey versions. ✅ macOS CPU Usage at nearly 100% has been □□ solved.Normally I would simply Uninstall then Reinstall Box Drive but after downloading and making a very large amount of data "Available Offline," I cannot afford the downtime of having to redownload.Įven though the files and folders were previously downloaded and made available offline, when attempting to open a Folder within the macOS Box Drive Folder, it takes a considerable amount of time just to process and display the contents of the folder within macOS Finder making it impossible to work with Folders.Īfter hearing that 1.Updating → 2.Uninstalling → 3.Restarting → 4.Reinstalling Box Drive was being posted by a few users as being □ successful, I just gave it a go and (Screenshots included below). Error message: " Your Device Could Not Connect To The Server" and " Problem With Network Server.". ![]() The green checkmark indicating the File/Folder is " Available Offline" is shown and contradictory to the " Download From Cloud" icon immediately beside it. All Files and Folders within the macOS Box Drive folder are indicating a local copy of the data does not exist and must be downloaded again.Possibly reindexing the entire Folder/File Structure. Nearly 100% CPU Usage for almost 5 hours.These files did not previously exist on Box and are being added to macOS' Box Drive folder for the first time. Box Drive is sporadically notifying of the following error:Įrror Updating File - Another item with this name already exists in the same folder.Įven though the file is being placed into the folder for the first time.Screenshots depicting what is happening are attached.
